Our first Roussanne from Box Grove Vineyard, owned by Sarah Gough and farmed by Cal Randall, found on the lands of the Taungurung people of the Kulin Nation. Picked on March 7th, one tonne handpicked. About 75% was straight pressed to barrel, while the rest was foot-stomped and left for a short carbonic maceration in a small pot.

After 7 days on skins, it was hand-pressed and topped into barrels. Wild fermentation carried out in barrel for 6 months before bottling on the first weekend of spring. This wine then rested in bottle for over a year before release.

A nose of ripe pink lady apple, manuka honey and mandarin peel leads into a mouth that is tight, bright and silky, finishing tart and waxy. Pair with seafood.

+Contains only minimal sulphur and is wild fermented without any other additions.
